In case no one told you today: You have the innate power, worth, and duty to manifest your hearts desires. Your desires are placed onto your heart because it's your duty to live your fullest greatest life! And because you have what it takes to make it happen.
In this four part series, we're going to talk about just how to do that. For the beginners, or those who need to be brought back to the basics. Because sometimes getting sucked into witchIG and witchtok can make us stray so far from where we belong!
Part 1: Ask
This is the first step in manifesting your dreams. Ask for what you want. Simple right? I wish :(
A lot of things hold us back from asking for what we truly want in life. Societal pressures, family pressure, limiting beliefs, low self worth. Being able to truly ask for what you desire requires you to bust through your limiting beliefs, know your worth, and SAY. IT. WITH. YOUR. CHEST. Shamelessly. We get afraid to ask for more money, A luxury car, a nice home, the person of your dreams. Why? Because that inner voice will tell you you're doing too much, it's not possible, it's never gonna happen. And that bitch needs to shut up. But we'll talk about that in the next email.
The first step in Asking is gaining clarity. Most of the time we kinda know what we want. It's an inkling inside of us, even if you want to suppress it- that desire to start a business, get rich, take a trip - we just have to hone in on this and let it out. This can be through journaling or simply making a list.
I always say, decide what you want, then double it. And always be specific.
Here's an example:
"I'm so happy and grateful now that I have a new car."
X Not specific enough AT ALL so let's try again...
"I'm so happy and grateful now that I have a new luxury car."
X almost there! But there are so many different luxury cars! It's getting scary now isn't it?
"I'm so happy and grateful now that I have a Black 2019 Tesla Model 3."
👍🏽That's more like it. It's specific, and asking for exactly what you want, hypothetically.
Now, the special sauce is to add "this or better" at the end. You want to give the universe the space to surprise you.
- Write it in the present tense
- Keep your language positive, focus on what you DO want
- Visualize and conjure the feelings as you write
- Sprinkle in feelings. Will you feel happy? Exhilarated? Free?
We're not worried about the how or when. We're worried about the why and the feeling of having it. Why do you desire this car? No reason is too big or too small. But the reasons add depth to your desire, and keep you motivated. Maybe your car now is a POS, maybe you don't want to pay for gas anymore, or maybe you just want to level up! Any and all are perfectly valid. Hold on to your reasons why and your feelings of having it. The feelings are the secret.
But what do we do when those nagging limiting beliefs pop up? Stay tuned for the next part in the series...
